    I wish I could have gone to the first blog convention but am not able to unfortunately. I just have a question ~ Since King Tom cannot be there now I sure hope that someone will have a huge poster of his smiling face since he was the one who really got this ball rolling.
     
    I am still crying as I type this comment since King died but I just wanted everyone know that King Tom has touched so many people that it would be a shame to not have him there since he will be there in spirit. He was so patient with me when I first was trying to learn this new scary world called blogging and I know that there must be a ton of others that feel the same way I do.

    Just booked my hotel room and got a great deal using HOTWIRE.  I am booked in the RENAISSANCE HOTEL on the East Strip for $109 per night.  You gotta check out the hotel web space to see just how awesome this spot is.  If you use HOTWIRE it does not tell you the name of the hotel until you pay for it ... just choose the one that is listed as a "BEST VALUE" for $109.  That will be the Renaissance.

    After going down this past weekend and having a bunch of fun... I cannot wait for the actual convention!!

    I wish you all the best on this 1st annual event, it just isn't a go for Marge and me due to daughter turning 21 that very weekend.  She'll only turn 21 once.  But hey, if we come into a bunch of bread, maybe I should bring her and my beloved to LV Baby.  What a town to turn 21 in, it would have to sure beat the ol' cake and ice cream routine, huh.

    Back in January I thought of this very event.  It's just to bad that MSN doesn't see the potential in such an event.  Hopefully, out of 100 million MSN bloggers it's like someone mention earlier if only 1 in a hundred come, can you imagine the fun.  What with Vista coming out soon next year and "Spacecraft's" announcement of an up and coming MSN Spaces Live version, it would seem to me that this would be right up there alley promotions wise. 

    I don't think there will be much time to just sit around with laptops in a motel room either, but there would need to be a way of identifying other fellow bloggers that would be in town.
